Tameside Welding and Fabrication LTD is hiring!

Summary:

We are looking for a Fabricator/Welder for our carbon steel shop.

Duties include:

*Reading and interpreting drawings.

*Material handling with overhead crane.

*Measuring and marking out

*Cutting ,shaping and forming of material using workshop equipment. Such as bandsaws, plasma cutters, angle grinders, pressbrake, rollers, guillotine etc.

*Preparing material for welding.

*Tack welding of parts using MIG and TIG processes.

*Mig and Tig welding to a high standard.

*Fettling of welded parts ready for finishing

Jobs can be from simple brackets, structural steel, large tanks, vessels, Pipework and everything in between. Good variation of work.

Workshop based in Bredbury Stockport.

Full time, PAYE

Mon-Thurs 07:00-15:15

Fri - 07:00 - 12:00

38 hour week. (Paid break and dinner)

£19/hr

Overtime x1.5(£28.50/hr)
