Job Title: Facade Cleaner (IRATA Rope Access Technician)

Job Purpose: To perform high-rise façade cleaning and external building maintenance using rope access and specialized equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with IRATA standards and company safety procedures while maintaining the highest quality of building appearance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform façade cleaning for high-rise buildings using rope access systems and spider equipment
• Clean exterior glass, aluminum cladding, curtain walls, and other façade materials
• Follow IRATA guidelines, work-at-height regulations, and site safety procedures at all times
• Inspect ropes, harnesses, anchors, and safety equipment before and after use
• Ensure proper setup and dismantling of rope access systems and equipment
• Identify and report façade defects, cracks, leaks, or maintenance issues observed during operations
• Maintain cleaning tools, chemicals, and rope access equipment in good working condition
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems
• Coordinate with supervisors and facility management teams to complete tasks efficiently
• Adhere to work schedules and complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment after use
• Follow environmental and waste disposal guidelines during cleaning activities
• Support minor façade maintenance activities where required
• Ensure all tasks are performed in line with company policies and procedures
• Health, Safety, & Environment:
• Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Related Assignments: Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
• Reporting:
• Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet HALJ requirements, policies, and standards.
• Share continuous feedback with the direct line manager.
• Escalate to the direct line manager within proper timeline to avoid circumstances.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

• Education: High school or equivalent
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in façade cleaning or rope access work
• Special Certifications: Valid IRATA Certification (Level 1 / 2 / 3 preferred)
• Job Specific Skills:
• -Experience in rope access techniques and high-rise cleaning
• -Ability to work at heights in challenging conditions
• -Knowledge of façade materials and cleaning methods
