Job Title: Facade Cleaning Operations – Level 1

Job Summary:

The Facade Cleaning Operative Level 1 is responsible for performing basic facade cleaning tasks on low to mid-rise buildings. This includes cleaning glass, metal, and stone surfaces using approved methods and equipment under supervision. This is an entry-level role suited for individuals new to the facade cleaning industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning of external building surfaces, including windows, panels, cladding, and signage.
• Use appropriate cleaning tools such as poles, brushes, squeegees, and water-fed pole systems.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling access equipment (e.g., ladders, mobile towers, scaffolding).
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Report any damage or maintenance issues observed on building facades.
• Maintain and clean equipment after use.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
• Attend training sessions and toolbox talks as required.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience necessary, but previous cleaning or labor experience is a plus.

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working at heights (training provided if needed).
