Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering
- Prepare façade shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
- Develop curtain wall, cladding, glazing, aluminium, and steel façade details.
- Perform structural and thermal calculations for façade systems.
- Review architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and main contractors.
Technical Coordination
- Attend technical meetings and site inspections.
- Resolve design and installation issues on-site.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and installation teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and local standards.
Material & System Knowledge
- Work with:
- Aluminium systems
- Glass and glazing
- ACP/metal cladding
- Steel structures
- Louvers and canopies
- Silicone and waterproofing systems
Project Execution
- Monitor façade installation progress.
- Ensure quality control and safety compliance.
- Support testing activities:
- Water test
- Air infiltration test
- Structural performance test
Documentation
- Prepare:
- Material submittals
- Method statements
- RFIs
- As-built drawings
- Technical reports
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Architectural Engineering
Experience
- 3–10 years experience in façade, aluminium, glazing, or steel industry.
- GCC/UAE experience preferred.
Software Skills
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks / Inventor (optional)
- Revit / BIM
- MS Office
- STAAD Pro or structural software (preferred)
