Project Engineer ( STEEL AND FACADE) FREELANCER

Key Responsibilities

• Manage facade, aluminium, glazing, and steel projects independently.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and site teams.
• Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical details.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate production, material delivery, and installation activities.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical/site issues.
• Prepare project progress reports and daily/weekly updates.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise subcontractors, installers, and fabrication teams.
• Handle quantity take-off, material estimation, and project planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Attend project meetings with consultants and main contractors.
• Coordinate snagging and final handover activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in facade, aluminium, or steel industry.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, glazing, aluminium systems, and structural steel works.
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOQ.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of project coordination and site management.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Freelance/project-based availability.
