Facade Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facade Project Engineer to manage and supervise facade and aluminium projects from execution stage until final handover. The candidate should have strong experience in curtain wall, aluminium systems, glazing works, cladding installation, and site coordination.

The ideal candidate must be capable of handling project execution, technical coordination, subcontractor supervision, material tracking, and consultant/client coordination while ensuring quality and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise facade installation works as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Manage curtain wall, aluminium, glazing, ACP cladding, skylight, louvers, and facade-related activities on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
• Prepare lookahead schedules and monitor site progress to achieve project deadlines.
• Coordinate fabrication and installation activities with factory and site teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with approved standards.
• Attend project meetings, consultant meetings, and coordination meetings.
• Monitor material deliveries, site logistics, and installation sequences.
• Ensure proper manpower planning and productivity at site.
• Raise RFIs, WIRs, MIRs, NCR responses, and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE departments.
• Resolve technical and installation-related issues at site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project procedures.
• Handle snagging, testing, inspection approvals, and final handover activities.
• Track project progress and submit daily/weekly progress reports to management.
• Coordinate access requirements including scaffolding, cradle, boom lift, and tower crane activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of UAE/GCC experience in facade or aluminium projects.
• Strong experience in curtain wall, glazing, aluminium systems, and cladding works.
• Knowledge of facade fabrication and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical details.
• Experience in handling site execution from drawing stage to handover.
• Familiarity with consultant approvals and project documentation.
• Good understanding of site coordination and construction sequencing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
