Job Title: Configuration Analyst
Location: Mason, OH (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break, 40 hours/week)
Position Overview:
The Configuration Analyst will play a key role on the Business Configuration Solutions team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining benefit configuration strategies within healthcare systems. This position involves approximately 60% configuration and 40% cross-functional collaboration, requiring strong analytical, technical, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading meetings, gathering and documenting requirements, and developing solutions that support large-scale healthcare implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and represent the Configuration workstream in cross-functional meetings for major healthcare implementations.
- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot benefit configuration solutions for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial programs.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to capture and document detailed business requirements and process flows.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Build and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze backend data supporting configuration and testing needs.
- Provide Fit/Gap analysis and feedback on new client plans to support system integration and automation.
- Manage priorities and deliverables to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and team performance metrics.
- Support automation initiatives to enhance configuration tools and streamline benefit setup processes.
- Maintain a strong partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of configuration solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Facets platform or similar healthcare configuration systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management (Oracle SQL preferred).
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing, benefit configuration, and provider network setup.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional meetings and collaborating across departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with automation tools or data integration platforms (e.g., Informatica).
- Familiarity with configuration processes for Medicaid, Medicare, or Med/Surgical programs.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong documentation and testing experience for configuration and process improvements.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour
