Facilities Custodial Associate/Kitchen Helper - 1st shift

Description:

1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of buildings and surrounding grounds. Prepare and maintain kitchen area and breakrooms during scheduled events or meetings in the main office building. This role involves routine and deep cleaning and ensuring a sanitary and orderly environment for all occupants.

JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS

• Maintain main kitchen area daily including special events and scheduled meetings
• Prepare coffee and snacks for events and meetings
• Assist Travel and Events to set up catering
• Pick up and clean dishes from events/meetings and put away dishes, utensils, etc.
• Pick up and replace drinking pitchers and glasses from all conference rooms and make sure clean items are available in each kitchenette every morning.
• Operate industrial dishwasher
• Sweep, mop, and maintain common areas as well as restroom if required.

Requirements:

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Education and Experience requirements: High School or GED
• Flexible working hours if needed for special events to include overtime and occasional weekends.
• Regular scheduled hours 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Good communication skills required for internal and external customers.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Extended periods walking, bending, lifting
• Maintain professional appearance following personal appearance policy.
