Landscape Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team for this Fall and Winter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Operate machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping tasks.
• Engage in tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as necessary.
• Implement hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct gardening duties including planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance garden aesthetics.
• Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility for clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge is preferred to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles to ensure proper plant care and selection.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Previous experience in construction or hardscape projects is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all landscaping projects.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
