Facilities Engineer – Congested Oilfields

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop facilities (platforms, pipelines, plants, storage).

• Optimize layouts to reduce congestion and maintain operational safety.

• Implement debottlenecking solutions to increase production capacity.

• Apply flow assurance strategies (thermal management, chemical dosing).

• Prepare and execute maintenance strategies for reliable operations.

• Collaborate across disciplines to align network models with reservoir forecasts.

Required Competencies

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

• Strong understanding of facility design, space optimization, and operations.

• Proficiency in engineering and simulation tools:

  • Network modeling: PIPESIM, GAP, Prosper, Nexus.

  • Flow assurance: OLGA, LedaFlow, Multiflash, PVTSim.

  • Design tools: CAD, CAESAR II, CFD.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

• Excellent project management and communication skills.
