Role Summary:

To manage the day-to-day operation and maintenances of various retail stores and ensure that all equipment maintenances are carried out in time and maintenance employees & SP are deployed effectively for delivering the services in time. Manage all specialist sub-contractors for the service delivery. Effectively manage the team of maintenance workers to enable them to deal with customers effectively maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • 98% Compliance of Planned Preventive Maintenances (PPM).
  • 95% Compliance of work order execution and closing in time for reactive maintenances (RM).
  • Inspections of retail store outlets regular intervals and resolving the issues if any
  • Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment aspect of the stores are taken care to high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer satisfaction to be not less than 95%.

Operational

  • Organise the manpower required for each job, ensuring that the right number employees are at each site at the designated time.
  • Meet with Business unit’s representative and stakeholders regarding any request/complaints, resolve issues where appropriate or refer to the line manager.
  • Coordinates with GMG Project team for inspection prior to ceiling closing of stores and report snag.
  • Assisting in establishing AMC on time as required by business units
  • Manage cleaning and other hard and soft services service providers, assess SLA’s & KPI’s time to time as per contract specifications.
  • 6. Identify any gaps in the skills of the labour force and arrange for appropriate training to take place.
  • Continuously work towards and monitor high levels of customer satisfaction at all times in order to provide quality and sustainable services.
  • Ensure the observance of all guidelines, instructions and conditions applicable to the Operations & Facilities department and as laid down by U.A.E. law, the company and its owners.
  • Organise and attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the development of consistent standards in quality working and behaviour. Conduct tool box talk on weekly basis.
  • Manage and maintain specialist subcontracts such as Maintenance, Housekeeping, Specialist’s equipment’s- FA/FF, Pest Control, Lift, Shutters, CCU etc.,
  • Ensure that all work orders are closed in time and customer satisfaction are obtained on the work order. Any customer dis-satisfaction will be analysed and action plan will be done for improvements.
  • Ensure quality materials are arranged in time or prior to work execution with proper reference work orders.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, and how they could be implemented.
  • Carry out quality control checks on all maintenance carried out by the team and the SP team.
  • Manage all specialist sub-contractors and ensure that the maintenances are carried out in time with quality.
  • Carry out quarterly inspection of stores and take appropriate action on abnormalities. Prepare and submit summary report about store condition and recommendations.
  • Prepare PPM schedule, monitor the execution of PPM activities and report to the management on monthly basis.
  • Ensure all safety and technical compliance for the stores are attended and rectified.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as below:

  • Experience in Electrical, HVAC, Civil (Carpentry, masonry and painting).
  • Experience in trouble shooting, problem solving of industrial systems.
  • Experience in Managing Service Providers. • Experience in similar industry is preferable

Bachelors / Diploma in engineering (Electrical).
