THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Facilities Specialist supports ULTA’s commitment to providing our external and internal guests a “Wow Experience” by providing a clean, safe and comfortable shopping environment. This position is responsible for managing and fulfilling all store merchandising fixture requests for Ulta Beauty retail stores via a facility maintenance platform as well as managing maintenance and repairs projects for the Facilities Team. As the point of contact for both store and district management, the Facilities Specialist is expected to coach and educate the store teams on Facilities and fixture best practices and programs. Oversight will include day to day operations, extensive vendor management, regular cataloging updates through our CMMS platform, significant oversight of the management of various special projects, and thorough review of invoices including asset reporting and verification.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

Responsible for assisting in the management, planning and organizing of all building maintenance activities (both capital and expense dollars in excess of $12MM) relating to the Facilities Department

Responsible for managing, planning and organizing of all merchandise fixture and lighting replenishment activities (both capital and expense dollars in excess of $7MM), Fixture Replenishment categories include supplies, equipment, acrylic merchandising fixtures, lighting, etc.

Thoroughly and independently review store and store system conditions; troubleshoot, diagnose and dispatch all related work at own discretion based on store history, real estate considerations and personal industry knowledge through a computerized maintenance management system

Ensure timely response/completion for all service calls in accordance with defined SLAs while in constant communication with both store and district level management

Ensure timely response/completion for all purchase orders and projects while in constant communication with both store and district level management

Manage vendors for specific trades (Fixtures, Mass/Prestige Merchandising Fixtures, Lighting and Salon Equipment ) across the entire retail portfolio with a concentration on improving service levels to the stores and driving value for the business

Collaborate on facility/store issues with other departments including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Design, Construction, New Store Set, Information Technology, Procurement, Property Management, Store Operations, Finance and Accounting

Oversee emergency response situations related to safety, security and business continuity

Develop departmental process improvement initiatives and deploy to the field

Contribute and advise on department strategy related to change management, vendor base and preventative maintenance programs

Coach and educate the operations team on Facility and Fixture maintenance programs as well as best execution practices on an ad hoc basis and through scheduled District Manager conference calls

Responsible for the accounting responsibility within the Facilities Department, including asset reporting, asset retirement, as well as financial forecasting

Advise and execute on any cost savings opportunities through best practices or improved energy efficiencies

Liaison between the organization and local, state and federal authorities having jurisdiction

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

BA. or B.S. degree or equivalent. 5-7 years retail experience, in operation roles is a plus

Must be detailed orientated and able to follow through and meet deadlines

Excellent process and procedural development skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to communicate via multiple mediums

Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point & Access

Ability to read store drawings, maps, and merchandise planograms

CMMS experience a plus

: The pay range for this position is $57,300.00 - $75,800.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
