Summary

Assist the Facilities Information staff in its mission to document and organize information about the campus buildings and infrastructure including Building Floor Plans, Construction Drawings and Campus Maps.

Essential Functions

  • Organize electronic and hardcopy drawings and documents, and entering them into a document management system
  • Create and Update Small Scale Floor Plan CAD drawings
  • Assist with updating space management software
  • Field measure physical spaces and do corresponding edits to CAD drawings
  • Update and create classroom map files
  • Adobe Illustrator map creation
  • Data Hub maintenance, scan documents, miscellaneous office duties
  • GIS map creation
  • GPS data collection

Minimum Qualifications

  • Intermediate computer knowledge, architectural and construction drawing reading skills
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to focus on and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Dependable and responsible
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator software
  • Training provided for Document Management & Space Management software
