Tata is looking for a Facility Instrumentation and Control Lead to work on optimizing cost-efficiency, smart operations and green manufacturing. The mission of this job is to build an innovative and reliable foundation to manage facilities operations for an advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility.
As our Facility Lead, you will not only operate a leading-edge fab, but also help us achieve energy efficiency by helping develop the technology for green manufacturing, including green building design/maintenance, utilities conservation, material reduction, recycling and reclamation, and greenhouses gas control and reduction.
Major Work Focus
-
Instrumentation and Control Systems: Design, build and manage the Instrument/Controls engineering work for fab production.

Maintain Instrument/Control records, lists, and reports as required; ensure compliance with project schedule, adherence to budget and/or procurement specifications; and ensure Instrument/Control problems are monitored and resolved.
Job Description
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Conceptualization, engineering design, analysis, specifications, calculations and documentation of instrument and control systems for use in semiconductor manufacturing.

Working with Design or Project Management organizations on large-scale designs and projects.

Construction administration & site observations.

Daily systems operation and operation data analysis.

Conducting associated calibration work of instrumentation.

Routine system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
Qualifications

A Bachelor degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Professional knowledge of PLC and HMI programs, and the ability to perform startup and commissioning activities to incorporate equipment, process, and facility control concepts.

The ability to design and troubleshoot SCADA and Operational Technology networks, including PLCs, servers/workstation, network switches and firewalls.

Familiarity or experience with IT and Cyber Security in Control network is preferred.

The employee may be required to work outside normal working hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Shift work and emergency overtime are required.

Able to work in a fast–paced, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment.

10+ years of work experience.

Experience with design and operations of facility monitoring and control system in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is preferred.

Experience with AutoCAD.
