Facilities Janitor (Part Time)

Position Summary

ReadyRide is seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout our facilities. This is a part-time position averaging 15-20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on business needs.

The Facilities Janitor is responsible for performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and facility upkeep tasks to ensure our offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas remain clean and welcoming for employees, clients, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floor surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces throughout the facility.
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and office equipment.
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and other exterior spaces as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and supply shortages to management.
• Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Assist with special cleaning and organizational projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean facility.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
