FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

Job Purpose:
The Seasonal Facilities Maintenance role at J & M Plating Inc. is crucial for ensuring the cleanliness and general upkeep of our manufacturing facility. The position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Assist with minor repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing bulbs, and repairing fixtures as part of preventive maintenance efforts.
• Store and maintain cleaning supplies, ensuring they are readily available and organized.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed to support operational needs.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience:

• Experience in performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Experience in assisting with minor repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing bulbs, and repairing fixtures
• Experience in preventive maintenance and general upkeep of facilities

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing setting

• Ability to store and maintain cleaning supplies effectively
