Today, Wondercide offers a comprehensive line of plant-powered solutions for pets, homes, and yards — trusted by millions and backed by over 50,000 5-star reviews.

Based in Austin, TX, we are a high-growth, digitally native CPG brand with an omni-channel presence and expanding retail footprint. As a vertically integrated operation, we formulate, produce, bottle, package, fulfill, and support our products in-house — giving us full control over quality, execution, and customer experience.

We are a collaborative, hands-on team that embodies our core values: Grit, Action, Curiosity, Ownership, and Insight. We are united by our mission and driven by Fierce Love® — protecting families of every kind, everywhere.

The Role

We are seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager with strong mechanical and production maintenance expertise to lead facility-wide maintenance and ensure optimal uptime on our production and packaging equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for daily troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, vendor management, equipment reliability, and supporting new equipment evaluation and implementation as our operations continue to grow.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is proactive in problem-solving, and takes ownership of keeping people, equipment, and the facility running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Perform and oversee equipment changeovers, rebuilds, and overhauls.
  • Install, maintain, and optimize new and existing machinery to meet performance and safety standards.
  • Develop, implement, and track preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and safety systems.
  • Ensure safe and proper use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a working manager and lead maintenance technician(s).
  • Coordinate and oversee work performed by contractors, vendors, and building/property partners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation: equipment logs, PM schedules, repair records, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Continuous Improvement teams to evaluate and upgrade equipment and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, safety, and internal quality standards.
  • Prioritize and resolve maintenance needs with a sense of urgency and clear communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and facility infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with tools, replacement parts, and fabrication as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in CPG, food/beverage, brewing, bottling, or other filling/labeling production environments.
  • Experience with flow wrappers, liquid filling systems, conveyors, or packaging lines.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.

What’s in It for You

  • Mission-driven work that truly makes an impact.
  • Competitive pay and bonus opportunity.
  • Low healthcare premiums + 100% vision & dental coverage.
  • Paid volunteer time off and parental leave.
  • Performance-based growth and development pathway.
  • Company-wide appreciation events (Thankful Thursdays, Thrilling Thursdays).
  • Free Wondercide products and company swag.
  • Dog-friendly workplace.
  • Paid holidays + vacation time starting day one.
