Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities management team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of our portfolio of businesses including restaurants, grocery stores, malls and warehouses. Your expertise will ensure that all systems—mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, restaurant equipment such as fryers and grills and high/low voltage—operate seamlessly, supporting our production goals and maintaining a safe, compliant environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including high and low voltage), HVAC units, plumbing systems and restaurant equipment.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or modifications, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies; implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety compliance, and asset management for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate shutdowns, repairs, or upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.
- You have field service and maintenance experience with a good mechanical aptitude.
- You can troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment as mentioned above.
- You communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- You must have a valid drivers’ license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to operate power tools in a safe and effective manner.

Experience
- Proven management experience in facilities or restaurant maintenance environments with strong supervisory skills.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise in both low and high voltage systems.
- Demonstrated ability in project management within restaurant or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, industrial safety standards, and compliance regulations.
- Strong maintenance background for restaurant equipment such as fryers and grills.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with stakeholders.
A Day in the Life
- Conduct site visits to address manager and ownership concerns.
- Conduct security audits of sites to ensure facilities are fully secure at all times.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Diagnose and complete minor plumbing issues, including snake drains, snake toilets, repair leaking faucets, and replace difference components to a toilet or sink, etc.
- Diagnose and complete minor electrical issues, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Install, upgrade, or replace electrical components as needed.
- Complete snow maintenance, including snow plowing, shoveling, and de-icing to ensure safe and clear pathways during winter weather conditions.
- Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
- Monitoring and responding to communications via email, phone, and messages.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel to facilities to diagnose building issues, repairs, and/or maintenance.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or perform repairs/cleaning when needed.
- Must be able to operate machinery as needed.
- Must be able to use power tools and diagnostic tools as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
