POSITION SUMMARY Industrial Services Utilities Technicians are responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and HVAC utility equipment/systems.
Schedule:
Night Shift 3day-4day rotating schedule (3 days on then 4 days off one week, 4 days on 3 days off the next week)
- Training is Monday - Friday, day shift and transitions to your appointed shift upon completion.
- Occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required to support critical deadlinesoffering a great opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and earn additional income.

What Youll Accomplish
- Operate, monitor, and maintain essential utilities and support systems that keep our facility running smoothly.
- Lead preventative and corrective maintenance on boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatments.
- Manage air compression systems, RO units, and silo tank offloads with precision.
- Oversee cooling tower water treatment and pH neutralization systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate fire protection systems and energy management programs to support a safe and efficient environment.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 2-year technical degree in HVAC, applied science, or equivalent (preferred)
- 1+ year experience in utilities operations (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration); food industry experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a medical evaluation and pulmonary function test for respirator use

- Are comfortable using CMMS and utilities monitoring systems
- Know your way around a computer for logging, researching, and navigating systems

Required qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- Construction skills: reading blueprints
Preferred qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the warehouse & production industry
- Speaks English
- Reads English
