Facilities Maintenance Technician

Marietta Toyota (located at 750 Cobb Parkway Southeast, Marietta GA 30060) is a family owned and operated business. We have been in the same location for more than 50 years!

We are seeking to hire a General Repair Facility Technician to join our growing company. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks to keep buildings and equipment in proper working condition. This role requires practical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and general building repair. Tools provided by Marietta Toyota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
• Assist with field service activities involving industrial electrician work, low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
• Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including low voltage wiring and high voltage safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Repair of basic plumbing issues as needed.
• General knowledge of minor construction work including door installation and minor building repairs.
• Perform painting, patching, and finishing work.
• Assemble furniture and install appliances or fixtures.
• Identify problems and recommend cost-effective repair solutions
• Ensure all work follows safety regulations and building codes
• Respond to general assistance and repair requests.

Required Skills:

• Minimum (2) years of experience as Facility Technician.
• Basic understanding of building upkeep and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools as needed.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
• Physical Stamina and ability to Stand, Lean, Stretch, and Reach, or kneel as required.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Pass a pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check including MVR.
• VALID Driver's License Required (must obtain GEORGIA driver's license within 30 days of employment if applicable)
