Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose

Perform maintenance and repair work for buildings and facilities, diagnose and resolve technical faults, and ensure the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of all facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical faults, identify their root causes, and carry out the necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems, as well as basic plumbing and air-conditioning systems.
• Replace damaged or faulty parts and ensure the quality of repairs before returning equipment or systems to operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities and report issues that require specialized technical support.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and handle them according to priority.
• Use tools, instruments, and technical equipment safely and correctly.
• Comply with occupational health and safety requirements while performing maintenance work.
• Document completed maintenance activities and update maintenance records.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of practical experience in facilities, building, or industrial maintenance.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing faults in the following areas:
• Electrical systems: Distribution panels, lighting systems, and circuit breakers.
• HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Plumbing systems: Water supply and drainage networks.
• Basic civil maintenance: Repairing doors, ceilings, and roofs.
• Ability to use measuring devices and technical tools effectively.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures.
• Ability to enter maintenance data and prepare basic maintenance reports.

Pay: From ﷼3,000.00 per month
