Role purpose

As our Facilities Manager, you'll own the UAE office experience and extend your reach across MEA. You'll keep operations humming, drive regional standards, and shape how Rebels experience their workplace every day.

What success looks like

In your first year, you will drive outcomes such as: running HQ operations (maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities, vendor responsiveness) so day-to-day activities run seamlessly; setting up preventative maintenance rhythms; ensuring a safe, well-equipped, and inspiring workplace for every employee; standardising health and safety practices; optimizing vendor and service contracts for value and performance; and laying the foundation for scalable facilities policies as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for the UAE office, including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities, and office equipment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues across MEA offices, managing on-site and remote troubleshooting support.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service delivery across multiple locations.
  • Monitor and control facilities budgets, manage vendor contracts, and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations, and champion best practices across regional offices.
  • Lead office moves, renovations, and workspace planning initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Implement and oversee preventative maintenance schedules and emergency response procedures.
  • Develop and maintain sustainable facility management policies, focusing on energy efficiency and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with People, IT, and other cross-functional teams to enhance workplace experiences and support operational needs.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years in facilities management, preferably regional or multi-site with building operations and workplace compliance across MEA.
Technical Skills
  • Must-haves: Strong knowledge of UAE regulations related to building management, health, and safety; proven experience managing vendors and service providers; excellent budgeting, negotiation, and contract management capabilities.
  • Nice-to-haves: Fluency in Arabic; familiarity with sustainability initiatives or workspace optimization tools.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, multi-office environments that require independent decision-making and proactive issue resolution.
  • Possesses a solutions-driven mindset with excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and leadership to guide contractors and align internal stakeholders across functions like People and IT.
