There is an opening for a Facilities Manager for Ellwood National Forge (ENF) in Irvine, PA, however, scope of work and assignments do include the Warren/Corry plants. This non-exempt salary position reports to the Director of Facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to those detailed below:
JOB DUTIES:
- Managing the maintenance and repair for all plant equipment and facilities located in Irvine, Warren and Corry, PA, including machines, furnaces, cranes, buildings, plant infrastructure, utilities and vehicles.
- Participation and manage facility capital equipment projects (new and re-build) including justification, configuration, budget, project management, location/relocation, installation and start-up.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility assets.
- Coordinate facility shutdowns, repairs, inspections, and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure plant grounds, roads, parking areas, and exterior systems are maintained year-round.
- Setting clear expectations for all Maintenance team members including:
- Providing day-to-day and project-to-project leadership to team members and supervision.
- Responsible for employment related matters including hiring, promoting hourly employees, disciplining and supporting Affirmative action matters.
- Ensuring safe work practices and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Leading ENF efforts to implement an effective CMMS Support ENF policies, procedures and objectives.
- Lead and coordinate compliance of facilities for Environmental Standards and Regulations.
- Enhanced Safety regulations as well as policies, rules and procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook.

- Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work
- As well as any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or electrical) or a commensurate level of related experience and education.
- 5–10 years of facility or industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Experience in steel manufacturing, machining, heat treating, or metals production.
- Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices, capability, preventative maintenance and quality requirements.
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, electrical, CADD systems, combustion instrumentation and plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
- Ability to work well with a team
- Detail oriented and ability to organize and prioritize
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project)
