Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Officer to support our office operations in Cairo. This role combines facility management, office administration, and coordination duties, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace.

The ideal candidate will have early-career experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations to ensure a well-maintained and efficient working environment
• Coordinate and manage office maintenance activities (repairs, utilities, cleaning, etc.)
• Liaise with service providers, vendors, and contractors for facility-related services
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of maintenance and service requests
• Support general office administration and coordination tasks
• Handle travel arrangements including flight bookings and logistics coordination
• Assist in procurement activities and manage relationships with external providers
• Coordinate document handling, including collection and delivery when required
• Maintain records related to facilities, vendors, and office operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards within the office
• Support team members with administrative and operational needs as required

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in facilities, office administration, or a related role
• Previous facilities management experience is a must
• Exposure to a corporate work environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and service providers effectively
• Proactive attitude with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Fluency in English and Arabic

Nice to Have

• Experience in travel coordination and logistics
• Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in office environments
