Position Title - Facilities Process and Gas Chemical Lead

Location - Dholera, Gujrat


The Role

Are you passionate about the design, construction and operation of one of the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the world?

Tata Electronics is looking for a Facility Process Gas and Chemical Engineer to work on optimizing cost-efficiency, smart operations and green manufacturing. The mission of this job is to build an innovative and reliable foundation to manage facilities operations for an advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility.

As our Facility Engineer, you will not only operate a leading-edge fab, but also help us achieve energy efficiency by helping develop the technology for green manufacturing, including green building design/maintenance, utilities conservation, material reduction, recycling and reclamation, and greenhouses gas control and reduction.


Major Work Focus

  • Process Gas Supply Systems: Design, build and operate bulk gas, bulk specialty gas and specialty gas supply systems to ensure a reliable supply system of high purity gas material for the 5nm fab production.
  • Process Liquid Chemical and Slurry Supply Systems: Design, build and operate the multiple chemical blending and dispense systems for fab production.


Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conceptualization, engineering design, analysis, specifications, calculations and documentation of hardware and/or process gas, chemical and slurry supply systems for use in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Working with Design or Project Management organizations on large-scale designs and projects.
  • Construction administration & site observations.
  • Daily systems operation and operation data analysis.
  • Collecting daily process samples and conduct associated lab work and reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring and managing utilities distribution, including power, water, compressed gases, instrumentation and control and so on.
  • Routine system preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.



Qualifications

  • A Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related technical fields.
  • An understanding of advanced chemical engineering kinetics, chemical reaction, fluid dynamics design, heat transfer, and thermal management is key to this role.
  • Knowledge of process flows – i.e., chemical material storage, handling, filtration, mixing, fluid transfer to and from various vessels and disposal management.
  • Employee may be required to work outside normal working hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Shift work and emergency overtime are required.
  • Familiarity with chemical analysis is preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • 10+ years of work experience.
  • Experience with process gas, chemical and slurry systems operations in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
