Facilities Project Manager | Administration and Operations | Gainesville

Overview:

The Facilities Project Manager serves as project manager on all major and minor projects concerning all UFP clinics and departments, including but not limited to:

  • New construction, renovations and remodeling, moves and relocations, installations and
  • Facility repair while maintaining appropriate quality and design standards.
  • Directs and manages the financial performance of projects in a cost-effective manner and keeps projects on task.
  • Prepares source documents for architect relative to floor plans, casework, outlets, phone and computer connections, furniture and equipment layout.
Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: B.S. strongly preferred in Business, Building Construction or related field. 3 years facility project management can substitute for degree. Must have experience in project management and general knowledge of building codes, AHCA standards. Two years supervisory experience recommended. Initiative, analytical, multitasking abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver' NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.
