Description: Facilities Supervisor –MEP/BMS
Position Overview
The MEP Foreman will be responsible for overseeing,
coordinating, and executing maintenance and repair activities related to
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The role includes
supervision of maintenance teams, inspection of facilities, troubleshooting and
rectification of faults, and ensuring all works are carried out safely,
efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect buildings and facilities to
identify maintenance requirements, including MEP, firefighting, and
swimming pool systems, ELV systems.
Plan, arrange, and assign workers to tasks with the necessary
materials to rectify defects.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including AC chillers,
VRF, split ducted units, air handling units, FAHU, water pumps, and
pressurization units.
Troubleshoot
and repair works for the BMS System (Honeywell)
Perform system performance testing and carry out emergency
repairs as required.
Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of MEP
& ELV System.
Supervise and rectify plumbing and drainage issues, and
oversee installation/maintenance of plumbing lines.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical
system issues, including supervising installation and repair of access
controls, ELV, CCTV and related works.
Ensure all maintenance and repair works are carried out safely,
within set timelines, and in compliance with company quality standards.
Report maintenance activities and progress updates to
supervisors/management.
Ensure
the staffs’ morning briefing and debriefing is carried out to optimize the
resource utilization.
Arranging
the materials for the team to perform the work and ensuring the material
request is placed in advance.
Qualifications & Experience
Certified A/C Chiller Technician with Diploma or ITI
certification in a relevant trade.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an
MEP/AC Foreman, with hands-on expertise in HVAC, & Electrical
& ELV system and sound knowledge in plumbing, and drainage system.
Strong ability to read and interpret AC, electrical,
plumbing, and drainage drawings.
Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of chillers and
split ducted AC systems.
Effective communication skills in English and Hindi (spoken
and written).
Strong technical knowledge combined with supervisory experience in
handling teams.
Working experience in CAFM
system will be an advantage.
Working knowledge in MS
Word, Excel system.
