The Facilities Technician will maintain and support the physical infrastructure of our IT manufacturing facility. This role is essential for ensuring that the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in building maintenance, a proactive approach to facility issues, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC voltages (three-phase, two-phase, and single-phase), electrical diagrams, and related components.
· Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety equipment
· Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure to ensure a clean, safe, and functional work environment for production and warehouse teams
· Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruption
· Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, maintenance services, and facility upgrades
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service requests, and safety inspections
· Assist with space management, set-up of work areas, and relocation of equipment as needed
· Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to facility management and energy efficiency
· Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and readiness
· Collaborate closely with production, safety, and security teams to support overall facility operations
· Employees are expected to remain accessible for calls during weekends and after regular business hours, as operational needs require

Minimum Qualifications:
· Technical certification or associate degree in facilities management, HVAC, electrical, or related fields preferred
· Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
· Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
· Basic understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
· Experience working with vendors and managing service contracts
· Basic computer skills for logging work orders and communicating with teams
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing facilities
· Familiarity with ESD-safe environments and cleanroom protocols
· OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)

· Primarily administrative and coordination tasks; no hands-on repair or maintenance duties
· May require walking through plant floor and interacting with multiple departments and vendors
