Facility Maintenance - 1st shift

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Facility Maintenance team member to join our team in Van Wert.
The primary goal of this position is to maintain and repair all aspects of the facility.
$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$
(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination).
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $25.00-$27.00 with a potential increase at 90 days.
PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job functions include:
- Maintaining refer trailers
- Completing water and wastewater testing
- Performing necessary building maintenance tasks (roof units, exhaust fans, painting, drywall, small job plumbing/electrical, light concrete experience, etc.)
- Process Safety Management documentation and daily round logs
- Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Must be detail oriented, able to work independently and possess strong organization and communication skills
Experience working in refrigeration, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, plumbing and general construction is strongly preferred
Must be able to work weekends, as required
