Job Summary:
The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all facility-related functions, including housekeeping, security, technical (E&M), maintenance, and vendor management. The role ensures a high standard of service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:1. Facility Operations Management
- Oversee daily facility operations including housekeeping, security, pantry, and technical services.
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG sets, lifts, STP/ WTP, and fire safety).
- Implement best practices for maintenance, safety, and energy management.
2. Maintenance & Technical Oversight
- Plan and supervise preventive & corrective maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with technical teams for breakdown management.
- Monitor AMC vendors and ensure timely service delivery.
3. Vendor & Manpower Management
- Manage staffing levels for housekeeping, security, and technical teams.
- Oversee vendor contracts, service quality, and timely renewal of agreements.
- Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safety norms.
- Conduct regular audits for fire safety, hygiene, and facility readiness.
- Manage risk assessments and emergency response plans.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor facility budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without affecting service quality.
- Review and approve vendor invoices.
Customer & Client Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building management, and occupants.
6.Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline; diploma/degree in Facility Management preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities/operations management.
- Strong knowledge of soft services, security, and technical maintenance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility management software.
