Facility Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Facility Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties
  • Ensure all facilities are functioning efficiently and maintained to company standards
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively

2. Maintenance Management

  • Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and external contractors
  • Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and technical issues

3. Vendor & Contract Management

  • Manage and monitor service providers (cleaning, security, MEP, landscaping, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements

4. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations and company policies
  • Implement health and safety procedures across all facilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and emergency preparedness plans

5. Budget & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage facility budgets
  • Monitor expenses and optimize operational costs
  • Review and approve invoices related to facility operations

6. Tenant Relations

  • Address tenant concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Oversee move-in and move-out processes
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants and clients

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and service reports
  • Prepare periodic reports on facility performance and operations
  • Ensure proper documentation of assets and equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facility management (residential & commercial)
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building maintenance
  • Experience in Qatar or GCC is preferred
