Facility & Transport Officer for School

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility & Transport Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of school facilities, maintenance, and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning, safety, and compliance of all facility and transport-related activities in line with school standards and ADEK regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Facility Management

• Supervise the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of school buildings, classrooms, and outdoor areas.
  

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, cleaning, and technical works.
  

• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and health regulations.
  

• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and asset management.
  

• Monitor utility usage (electricity, water, etc.) and propose cost-saving measures.
  

Transport Management

• Oversee daily school transport operations to ensure timely and safe pick-up/drop-off of students.
  

• Coordinate with transport contractors and drivers to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
  

• Handle transport-related communications with the stakeholders.
  

• Maintain up-to-date records of bus routes, drivers, and student lists.
  

  
  
  
  

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or Facility Management (preferred).

Minimum 2 –3 years of experience in facility and/or transport management, ideally within a school or educational institution .

Strong knowledge of ADEK , Civil Defense , and transport compliance standards in the UAE.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Strong communication skills in English ; Arabic is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office, Emails and basic reporting tools.
