Job Title: Butcher – Frozen Foods

Job Overview:

The Butcher will be responsible for cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing meat and poultry products according to company standards for the frozen foods industry. This role requires knowledge of various meat cuts, safe handling practices, hygiene compliance, and the ability to work efficiently in a cold storage/production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cutting, deboning, trimming, and portioning of meat and poultry products as per specifications.
• Operate knives, saws, and other butchery tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain product consistency, portion control, and minimize wastage.
• Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and HACCP guidelines during all butchery processes.
• Handle, pack, and label meat products for storage and freezing.
• Inspect meat quality and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage of raw and processed meat in cold rooms/freezers.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized in compliance with food safety standards.
• Support production team in meeting daily output and order requirements.
• Adhere to workplace health & safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Butcher / Meat Cutter in frozen foods, meat processing, or FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of different meat cuts, deboning, trimming, and portioning techniques.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and cold chain practices.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in refrigerated environments.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and meet production deadlines.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in industrial-scale butchery for frozen foods or catering supply.
• Certification or training in food safety and HACCP.
• Multilingual abilities (English required; Arabic/Hindi/Tagalog an advantage).

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
