Role Purpose
As the
Factory Financial Controller
, you will serve as the strategic financial engine behind our manufacturing operations. This is not a "desk-bound" accounting role; you will be on the floor and in the boardroom, bridging the gap between operational efficiency and financial performance. You will be responsible for driving cost transparency, optimizing Product Costing, and providing actionable insights to the Supply Chain and Factory leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering

Act as the primary financial advisor to the Factory Manager, Procurement, and Warehouse teams.

Lead
Operational Business Review Meetings (BRMs)
, translating complex manufacturing data into financial narratives.

Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Finance to analyze the impact of production shifts on brand profitability.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Drive the
Month-End Closing
process for the factory, ensuring accuracy in accruals, yields, and variance analysis.

Lead the annual
Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting
exercises for manufacturing overheads and production volumes.

Utilize
Oracle ERP
and EPM tools to maintain "one version of the truth" for all supply chain financial data.
3. Operational Excellence & Costing

Manage and audit
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
and maintain rigorous
Product Costing
standards.

Identify and track factory waste, labor efficiencies, and utility consumption to drive COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) improvements.

Monitor supply chain cost drivers, including freight, warehousing, and lead-time impacts on working capital.
4. Supply Chain & Compliance

Support the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process to align production schedules with market demand.

Oversee financial controls related to shipment flows across the
GCC and export markets
.

Provide basic oversight on import/export documentation (Incoterms, FOB, packing lists) as it relates to landed cost accuracy.
Must-Have Capabilities

Technical Mastery:
Deep understanding of manufacturing finance, including absorption costing, variance analysis (price vs. usage), and inventory valuation.

Stakeholder Management:
Proven ability to influence senior operational leaders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Mindset:
Ability to deep-dive into BOMs and production data to find hidden efficiencies.
Good-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with GCC logistics, including shipping regulations and distributor negotiation support.

Prior exposure to Commercial Finance or Corporate Controlling.

Experience in cross-functional pricing projects or SKU rationalization initiatives.
