Factory Manager

Position: Factory Manager – Steel/Metal Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing processes in steel and metal production.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Manage factory staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and workforce planning.
• Optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare operational reports and budgets for senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in factory management in steel, metal, or heavy manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and safety standards in metal/steel manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
