Position Overview
The Factory Manager – Joinery is responsible for managing all aspects of production within the joinery workshop. This includes planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the factory’s operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification, and within budget. The role involves close coordination with design, procurement, and site installation teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the joinery factory, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Plan, monitor, and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure materials, tools, and machinery are available and properly maintained.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
2. Quality Control
- Ensure all joinery items meet company quality standards and client specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement quality assurance procedures.
- Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to production staff.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of joiners, machinists, finishers, and supervisors.
- Allocate workloads effectively and monitor performance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Planning & Coordination
- Work closely with design, procurement, and project management teams to interpret drawings and clarify requirements.
- Schedule production and manage timelines to ensure efficient workflow.
- Coordinate deliveries and dispatch of completed joinery items.
5. Cost & Resource Management
- Monitor material usage, waste levels, and labor costs.
- Ensure factory output aligns with budgetary and productivity targets.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
6. Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Enforce health and safety standards within the workshop.
- Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
