Job Title: Factory Medical Officer (FMO) / Occupational Health Physician
Department: Occupational Health Centre (OHC) / EHS

Reports To: Head Administration & Facilites.

Key Responsibility
Occupational Health Centre Management: Operate OHC with required facilities, medicines, and staff. Employee Health Care:
Conduct pre-employment, periodic medical exams, and manage employee health records.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Factories Act & Maharashtra Factories Rules; submit statutory health reports.
Workplace Health & Safety: Support EHS in hazard identification, control measures, and occupational disease prevention.
Emergency Response: Lead first-aid & medical emergency response; coordinate with external hospitals.
Wellness Programs: Conduct awareness sessions, vaccination drives, lifestyle disease prevention, and wellness initiatives.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain statutory registers, medical examination reports, and prepare MIS/annual health report.
Required Qualifications
MBBS degree from a recognized university. AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) certification from DGFASLI/recognized institute (Preffered).
Valid registration with State Medical Council / NMC. Preferred: Training in occupational health, industrial hygiene, or emergency care.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Occupational Health / Industrial Health / Hospital Practice.
Experience in manufacturing/engineering/chemical industry preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of occupational medicine, toxicology, industrial hygiene.
Strong emergency medical response & trauma care handling.
Familiarity with ISO 45001 / EHS management systems. Good communication skills for awareness and employee counseling.
Ability to manage OHC staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Work Schedule
Full-time, on-site presence as mandated by law (>1000 workers).
On-call availability for medical emergencies beyond working hours.
Maintaining the medical history (Confidential)
All the records of employees to be maintained at most confidentially.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
