Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Stock In Charge to join our team at DELUXE FURNISHING COMPANY. As the Store In Charge, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the stock and inventory control processes within our furniture manufacturing facility. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of materials and finished products. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Manage and monitor inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
Conduct regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring accuracy of inventory records.
Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels based on demand forecasts.

Stock Replenishment:

Analyze stock levels and usage patterns to determine reorder points and quantities.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components for production.
Monitor stock replenishment activities, ensuring efficient use of storage space and minimizing stockouts.

Warehouse Organization:

Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to stock.
Implement efficient stock categorization and labeling systems for easy identification and retrieval.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.

Inventory Tracking and Reporting:

Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, stock transfers, and adjustments accurately.
Generate regular inventory reports, highlighting stock levels, stock aging, and potential inventory issues.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile inventory records and perform periodic audits.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the stock and inventory control functions.
Propose and implement enhancements to streamline stock management processes and reduce inventory holding costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and leverage technology solutions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in stock management or inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of stock management principles, inventory control techniques, and warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus.

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs95,000.00 per month
