Factory Yard In Charge

Operational Oversight

• Production Planning: Schedule daily/weekly casting, curing, polishing, and finishing of terrazzo panels, tiles, or aggregates.
• Resource Allocation: Ensure raw materials (cement, epoxy, marble chips, pigments) are available and properly stored.
• Workflow Supervision: Monitor mixing, pouring, vibration, curing, grinding, and sealing processes to maintain efficiency.
• Equipment Management: Oversee operation and maintenance of mixers, grinders, polishers, and cutting machines.

Quality & Compliance

• Quality Control: Inspect batches for consistency in color, aggregate distribution, thickness, and finish.
• Standards Compliance: Enforce ASTM, EN, and UAE-specific codes (VOC, SCOF, fire ratings) in production.
• Testing & Documentation: Coordinate slip resistance, compressive strength, and VOC emission tests; maintain records for client assurance.
• Defect Resolution: Identify and correct issues such as cracks, voids, or uneven finishes before dispatch.

Workforce Management

• Team Supervision: Direct craftsmen, machine operators, and yard laborers with clear instructions.
• Training: Provide skill development in terrazzo mixing, polishing, and safe handling of chemicals.
• Safety Enforcement: Implement PPE use, chemical handling protocols, and accident prevention measures.
• Shift Management: Organize manpower to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Logistics & Yard Control

• Inventory Management: Track stock of aggregates, binders, molds, and finished panels.
• Storage & Handling: Ensure proper curing and safe stacking of precast terrazzo units to avoid damage.
• Dispatch Coordination: Oversee packing, loading, and delivery schedules to project sites.
• Yard Organization: Maintain cleanliness, order, and safe movement of materials and equipment.

Administration & Reporting

• Daily Reports: Submit production output, material consumption, and workforce attendance.
• Cost Control: Monitor wastage, optimize material usage, and reduce rework.
• Client & Management Liaison: Communicate project progress, technical issues, and delivery timelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest process upgrades, new machinery, or innovative mixes for efficiency and branding.
