The University of South Asia is seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join the Computer Sciences Department for the following roles:

Positions Available:

• Full-Time Faculty – Computer Sciences

• Lab Instructors – Computer Science and Software Engineering

University of South Asia – Cantt Campus

Minimum Requirements:

For Full-Time Faculty:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution

• Strong academic record

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

• University-level teaching experience

• Experience in curriculum development and student mentoring

• Industry background in Software Development, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or other CS specializations

• A PhD in a relevant field is a strong advantage

For Lab Instructors:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized university

• Solid grasp of core programming languages and tools

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Lab teaching or technical support experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Time Faculty:

• Deliver interactive lectures and conduct practical sessions for undergrad/grad programs

• Prepare and evaluate course materials, assignments, quizzes, and exams

• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students

• Stay current with industry trends; integrate real-world practices into teaching

• Contribute to departmental meetings and academic planning

• Engage in research initiatives, conferences, and faculty development activities

Lab Instructors:

• Assist with lab session preparation and supervision

• Support students in hands-on projects and technical tasks

• Maintain lab equipment and software environments

• Collaborate with faculty to enhance lab content and learning outcomes
