Qualifications:
- PhD in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience at a reputable higher education institution.
- At least 2 years of academic administration experience.
- Strong record of scholarly publications in recognized journals and databases (e.g., Scopus, ABDC).
- Professional certifications and memberships are an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in integrating AI tools and educational technologies into teaching and learning.
- Experience developing technology-enhanced learning resources and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Strong student engagement, advising, and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in an academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities.
- Participate in curriculum design, program development, and accreditation initiatives.
- Develop new courses and enhance existing academic offerings.
- Supervise student research projects and provide academic advising.
- Participate in student clubs, community outreach, and institutional events.
- Support academic quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute actively to the institution’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, academic rank, research profile, and relevant experience.
