Faculty – Video Editing & Animation

About the Role:

Delhi College of Photography is looking for a passionate and skilled faculty member to teach video editing, post-production, color grading, and animation. The ideal candidate should have both industry experience and teaching ability to guide students in mastering editing software, motion graphics, and creative storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging classes on video editing, color grading, compositing, motion graphics, and animation.
• Train students on software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Teach fundamentals of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual aesthetics.
• Guide students in creating short films, reels, advertisements, and animation projects.
• Evaluate student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in editing, color grading & animation to integrate into teaching.
• Support institute events, workshops, and student film projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate/Diploma in Film, Media, Animation, or related field.
• Proficiency in video editing, color grading, and animation tools.
• Strong knowledge of 2D/3D animation basics and visual effects preferred.
• Previous teaching/training experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
