FAH Technical Consultant

Job Summary

The Technical FAH Specialist is responsible for technical configuration, integration and support of Financial Accounting Hub. The role requires strong hands on skills in FAH setup, data mapping, interfaces and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• FAH Technical Configuration
  • Configure FAH setups including accounting rules, mapping sets, transaction objects, event models and journal line definitions.
  • Create and maintain integration touchpoints between source systems and FAH.
  • Develop data transformation logic for FAH accounting events.
• Integration and Interface Management
  • Build, manage and troubleshoot inbound interfaces from various business systems to FAH.
  • Validate data mapping between source systems and FAH structures.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure seamless data flow to the General Ledger.
• Technical Troubleshooting
  • Analyse and resolve FAH accounting errors, interface failures and event model issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
  • Work on data corrections for stuck or failed accounting events.
• Technical Documentation and Enhancement
  • Prepare technical design documents, mapping documents and configuration trackers.
  • Support upgrades, patches and enhancements related to FAH.
  • Work with vendors or ERP support teams for issue resolution.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands on experience with Oracle Financial Accounting Hub.
• Knowledge of ERP Financials such as General Ledger, Receivables, Payables and Fixed Assets.
• Good understanding of FAH data model and accounting objects.
• Strong experience in interface development, API based integrations or file based integrations.
• SQL and data analysis skills for troubleshooting accounting events.
• Experience working with banking or enterprise scale financial systems.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Experience working in GCC region.
