Fair Temp Caretaker

Job Summary

• High school diploma or GED; and
• 1 year of general labor or custodial experience
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

• Forklift certification and tractor experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with landscaping and park maintenance.
• Ability to operate mowers, string trimmers, and vehicles towing trailers.
• Experience with carpenter hand tools, power tools chainsaw, riding mowers and driving a pick-up with a trailer.
• At least one year experience working in maintenance of buildings, parks, or farm/ranch experience.

• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively operate a lawn mower and other standard gardening tools.
• Frequently sitting on large tractor mower for hours each day.
• Frequently lifting and carrying 20–50-pound garbage bags.
• May be required to perform work at heights from ladders.
• Some duties may require you to lift, push, and/or pull up to (or possibly more than) 50 lbs.
• Continuously Reaching, Standing, Walking, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing & Seeing.
• Frequent Repetitive Motions used for such duties as Edging, Pruning, Mopping, Sweeping, Raking, Shoveling.

• This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.
