Fall/Spring 2026-2027 Kid's Day Out Child Care Worker

Eastminster Summer Kids Day Out is currently seeking part-time child care workers to join our team. Our program serves kids ages three months through Pre-K, and is open two days a week. Our ideal applicant has a strong and growing faith in Jesus Christ and is energetic, caring, positive, patient and flexible.

Qualifications:

· Love kids and have a growing relationship with the Lord

· High school diploma or GED

· Physically capable of lifting children as needed and actively playing with them

· Must pass a background check and attend child safety training and orientation

Job Requirements:

· Guiding and encouraging children in learning to share, listen and interact with others

· Actively engage and monitor children during free play, recess, lunch, Bible time and music

· Organize a simple weekly craft and gather supplies from our Resource Room

· Change diapers/bathroom breaks

· Build positive, Christ-centered relationships with children, parents, and co-workers

· Help decorate and care for our facilities, putting away toys and supplies

Hourly Rate and Hours Expected:

· Part-time position, starting at $11/hour

· Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:45 am to 1:30 pm, September 8th through May 12th with holiday breaks.

· Child care workers on our staff may enroll their own children ages three months through Pre-K at no cost while they are working on site if there is room in the program
