Families Activities Coordinator (Reem mall)

The Family Activity Coordinator manages the day-to-day organization, operation, promotion, administration and supervision of all things Family & Junior orientated in the club. They design and over see an extensive family and Junior schedule that aligns with all age groups daily, weekly, and monthly. The position ensures continuous professional growth and development of team members and colleagues and ensures teams provide fun, enthusiastic, safe and engaging activities for the whole family and junior members. The coordinator drives department performance to reach or exceed operational excellence, and high-quality feedback and service scores in order to grow and retain family and Junior memberships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Constantly manage and assess the class schedules of all family and Junior based class programs which are included in the membership offering.
  • Ensure coaches provide a safe and friendly environment for the family and junior Members.
  • Ensures all team members initiate, develop and maintain personalized relationships with all members and their children.
  • Maintain strong working relationship that will ensure the family and junior class offering have the best suitable coaches for each class.
  • Plan, organize, and execute special events throughout the year to promote value to the members for club participation and increase attendance in fee-based programs not limited to (Summer, Winter, Halloween and Easter camps).
  • Partners directly with the membership sales team to acquire and retain kids' memberships.
  • Markets, promotes and sells all family and Junior programs throughout the club and in the community to increase participation and engagement.
  • Stay up to date on family and junior market and related industry developments and best practices.
  • Teach up to 5 classes/week to assess and modify Wellfit's class offerings and schedules as needed.
  • Obtain and act on member feedback.
EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ year of experience teaching or working in a family or children's program
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • Successfully complete and passed an early years' development certification
  • First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED
  • Proven successful collaboration with team members
  • 2 years of managing financials of a department in a profit & loss environment
