We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic person to join our home as a Family Assistant. You’ll help with childcare, light household tasks, and fun daily activities for a bright, active 9‑year‑old boy with Autism. If you enjoy helping kids grow, staying organized, and being part of a supportive team, this is a great opportunity.

About the Role

You’ll support a caring family by helping with daily routines, simple meals, light cleaning, and fun outings. This is a long‑term, stable position with consistent hours and a positive, team‑oriented environment.

What You’ll Do Child Support & Activities

• Provide supervision, companionship, and engaging play
• Help with simple routines and structured activities
• Prepare easy meals (noodles, nuggets, fries, etc.)
• Join fun outings: swimming, playgrounds, boating, farms, zoo trips
• Support a calm, predictable daily routine
• Work alongside another caregiver in a friendly, supportive team

Household Support

• Light cleaning, laundry, and general organization
• Keep common areas tidy and running smoothly
• Assist with grocery lists and simple meal prep for the child
• Help care for friendly household pets (dog, birds, tortoise)

Schedule Options

• Part‑time: 15–20 hours/week
• Full‑time: 30–50 hours/week
• Weekday and weekend shifts available
• Consistent, predictable schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Caring, patient, and reliable
• Experience with childcare or household support
• Comfortable staying active and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Organized and ready for long‑term work

Pay & Benefits

$19.50 - $20.26 per hour, based on experience
