Family Assistant / Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Family Assistant / Housekeeping professional to support our busy household providing high-quality care for our family including three young children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a clean, organized environment while providing personalized assistance to ensure the smooth running of daily routines. This hands-on role involves daily light housekeeping as well as attending to various personal and household needs for the family. The role requires a trustworthy, professional, and adaptable individual with a strong sense of loyalty, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to handle varying daily duties.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. Your contributions will help foster a comfortable and efficient home environment, allowing families to focus on what matters most.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including residential cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation to maintain a pristine living space
• Provide attentive and loving care for children as needed ensuring their safety at all times.
• Engage in playtime and recreational activities that are age-appropriate.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with precision and care.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks, as needed/requested.
• Conduct light housekeeping across all areas of the home.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas through commercial cleaning techniques when necessary, ensuring a healthy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping preferred.
• Previous experience in babysitting or nannying is required.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals and prepare snacks.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
• A patient, nurturing demeanor with a passion for working with children.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the agreed-upon schedule.
• Must be positive and self-motivated exemplifying high degree of integrity.

The candidate should demonstrate the ability to "read the room," intuitively understanding and anticipating the Family’s needs and navigating their daily routines to be of maximum assistance.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
