Family Assistant/Nanny

Family Assistant / Household Support — 15-20 hrs/week

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma
Schedule: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
Compensation: $22-$25/hour, based on experience
Mileage: Mileage reimbursement when using a personal vehicle

A busy, welcoming family of five is seeking a warm and proactive Family Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone dependable, flexible, and intuitive — a team player who enjoys supporting a household with many moving parts.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

• Engaging children in fun activities
• Providing warm, structured, imaginative care
• Date-night care (1-2 evenings a week)
• Picking up older son from therapy 2-3 times a week
• Helping with household tasks and maintaining home when present.
• Meal prep once a week for older son

Special Needs Collaboration

• Experience with special needs preferred; ABA familiarity a plus
• Comfort following a structured routine with the older child
• Ability to be playful, calm, and emotionally attuned with the younger child
• Ability to “read the room” and adapt to children’s needs
• Attendance at parenting therapy and parent training sessions (paid time)

Requirements

• 3–4 professional references
• Background check (family-paid)
• Drug screening (family-paid)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in a home where a parent is present often
• Familiarity with ABA and TBRI is a strong plus
• Understanding of responsive parenting, attachment parenting or trauma-informed care is helpful but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
