Family Assistant / Nanny

Location: Lansing, MI

Compensation: $25–$30 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 20 hours per week. Schedule will vary and may include weekends.

Guaranteed Hours 20 hours per week

Position Overview

A busy family relocating to Michigan is seeking a long-term Family Assistant / Nanny to care for their two children, ages 5 months and 4 years. This role combines childcare, household support, pet care, and family assistant responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with childcare and daily routines
• Transport children to and from daycare, appointments, and activities
• Run errands and provide household support
• Assist with meal preparation
• Help care for two Newfoundland dogs, including occasional appointments
• Support the overall organization and operation of the household

Requirements

• Previous nanny or family assistant experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable caring for children and large dogs
• Organized, dependable, and proactive
• Long-term commitment preferred
• Must be able to provide 3-5 professional references
